Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Festa Italiana. Our volunteer shifts for 2025 and sign-up form are listed below.
Festa Italiana SLC will be held at The Gateway from September 13th to 14th. Please note that this year, Festa will open at 12 pm on Saturday and Sunday. For questions about volunteering, please contact volunteer@utahitalians.com.
Description of volunteer positions
Festa Setup: general setup on Festa grounds which includes setting up tables and chairs, covering tables, putting out Festa booklets, helping to stock some of the booths
Beer and Wine Booth (21+ ONLY): Pour beer and wine, help ring up guests, restock materials as needed
Information Booth: help guests with Festa Italiana merchandise, and answer general Festa questions
Italian-American Classics Food Booth: run by the Italian-American Civic League! Help make Italian sodas, fill cannoli, ring up guests, restock materials as needed
VIP (21+ ONLY): check-in VIP guests, help maintain VIP area, restock drinks and materials as needed
Pizza/Pasta Eating Contest: setup the area for the pizza or pasta eating contest, check-in and seat participants
Festa close-down: close-up booths, takedown signs, stack chairs and tables
